Hendrik Heerschap
My adventure in the aviation industry started in Greece with Global aviation. Here I did my integrated ATPL. Unfortunately, I finished my flight training during the Covid pandemic and the airline jobs were not abundantly available, so I decided to continue my training to become a flight instructor. This training I completed in Budapest, Hungary, and I was lucky to find a flight instructor job quickly after finishing my training. The job was with a start-up company/flight school E-Flight Academy in my home country, the Netherlands, and I gained a lot of experience here flying electric aircrafts. Eventually the aviation industry slowly started to recover and decided to chase my dream of flying commercially and was fortunate enough to start as a First Officer on the A320 with Wizz Air. Here i gained a lot of valuable experience flying all over Europe. I did feel a desire to return to the Netherlands so eventually i started looking for different oportunities that made it possible to live in the Netherlands. After a while i found the perfect chance to fly the queen of the skies with Air Atlanta Icelandic.
